Robert Waterbury

Robert Waterbury and his wife Liz have been members of First Church for about ten years. Robert is our First Church Chacel Choir Director at the 11:00am service. With his wife Liz, he created the Shasta Vocal Institute in 2000, an intensive vocal training program for aspiring singers. Robert also started the North Star Community Opera in 2001 – they gave performances throughout the years. He discontinued that in 2007 so he could concentrate on the Shasta Vocal Institute performances.  He gives voice lessons to 25 students a week.  Some of his students have come to sing with our choir over the years. They're a wonderful addition.
