First UMC provides services for many in need and also helps other organizations who provide for those in need.
If you are in need of help contact our Ministry Staff or one of our many Support Groups for assistance.

Lend a Helping Hand!

First UMC also provides many opportunites for people to serve in the church or community and even throughout the world.

We welcome your help at church! You might enjoy serving on one of our FUMC Commissions, working with our Support Groups, attending the United Methodist Women's luncheon and program, joining one of UMW's groups or helping with one of their many activites.

If working for the good of our community is a better fit for you, consider becoming involved in one of the many Community Events sponsored by First Church, Arts Commission or Church & Society or participating in the Wesley Neighborhood, Inc.

Perhaps you are more interested in a Global way to lend a helping hand. Earth Keepers or Genocide No More – Save Darfur may be the groups you want to join.
