Sharon Muto ~ Love First Moment

I am Sharon Muto and I am learning to “Love First”.

Most of you know me as the Church AA and as a church member. What I’m sure not many of you know is that I come from a dark past and broken home where I was constantly moving from one relative’s home to another. My bright spot I want to share with you is the first Sunday I attended services here, almost to the day five years ago, I stood up front here, where I am now, and looked out over the congregation while Marty introduced me as your new church secretary. And you were where you are now, looking back at me. You the loving, caring, happy families that I have witnessed here over the years. Families made up of individuals that encourage & build up each other. And when I say families, I don’t just mean the traditional family unit, I mean everyone – because here there are other families, church families, friend families. It brightens my day to know friends are caring for friends. I love watching that happen. I also love watching the couples here. The new loves, the freshly married, the forever married… all being openly affectionate with each other, holding hands, giving each other a peck. I was not a witness to such strong marriages growing up and it just warms my heart, calms my spirit, and is such a gift to be with you. It is a wondrous thing to be in a family. Thank you for making me a part of your family.
