Summer Worship Schedule: Sunday – 10am & 6pm!
First Church is a progressive, local congregation of the United Methodist Church–which has more than 12 million members worldwide. We are a downtown church that has been committed to serving our community and our world for well over 100 years. Here at First Church, we believe God is love. We celebrate God’s love through caring for each other, our community, and our world. Learning to be compassionate to all people and open to different perspectives– growing together in God’s love. Whether it’s worshiping with us on Sundays, serving our community and our world, hosting some amazing support groups, or offering engaging activities to participate in, First Church is a great place to call home. There’s so much going on here!

Children & Youth Ministries – First Church offers a wide variety of programs and activities for children of all ages. Our Wonder Years program provides care and education for the younger children, and Y.E.S.! (Youth Empowered Spiritually) is geared towards tweens and teens. Click the link above for more information! Nursery care is provided at all three services.
The Welcome Center -The Welcome Center is a hub of information for all worshipers attending Sunday services at First Church. It is located in the Foyer, on the left side of the Lobby just outside the main Sanctuary. Friendly, helpful Church members regularly staff the Center. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Welcome Center before or after the Worship service, where they will receive a useful packet of information about First Church. You can sign up for our Pivot classes at the Welcome Center or pick up flyers for upcoming events and activities. Our hearing-impaired friends can check out equipment at the Welcome Center in order to fully appreciate the Worship service. We’re always happy to see you at the Welcome Center, so come say hello!
